Our family loves soup... I think our favorite is cauliflower soup. If I don't know what to make for supper and ask Mike he always says the same thing... make soup. :-) Then I usually decide what kind. I love variety. Carrot stew in the More-With-Less is very good as well.
Last night we had venison stew that was extremely yummy. I found the recipe online. It was a nice thick stew and we ate it over noodles. I also love Cheddar Chowder.
Oh yes, we definitely are soup people. We usually have soup Wednesday nights since it's a simple meal to make and clean up before church. But we do it other times, too, especially in the winter. It's usually frugal eating as well, and fills you up without being too fattening (depending on the soup), so 3 cheers for soup! We like tomato, creamy white chili, split pea with ham & curry, vegetable, cheddar chowder, potato, taco, seven bean & ham, turkey pasta, shrimp chowder (that's not so frugral!), and there are probably more that I can't think of right now...
I'm the wife of a 4th year medical student and a SAHM of three--Kaylie(5 1/2) & Ashleigh(3 1/2) and Ravi (15 mons.).
I stay busy keeping the home fires burning and trying to train our children for the LORD!
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” (Luke 9:23-24) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)

Sorry, not a soup person. I do can a wonderful tomato soup that we often have with garlic bread for lunch some Saturdays, but that's about it. -Angela
